WITH 愛 (love) FROM SPaiN and WITH 希望 (hope) FROM SPaiN are two fanzines made for Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi, two well known japanese game developers, on the occassion of their visit to Spain. As my part of these collaborative projects I designed a series of puzzles and a murder mystery that span across their pages.

Contributions

For WITH 愛 (love) FROM SPaiN :

• Created a series of visual puzzles that put together made up a hidden message.
• Created a cipher and clues towards its nature and solution.
• Wrote a fake newspaper article providing clues for the puzzles.

For WITH 希望 (hope) FROM SPaiN:

• Wrote a short scenario setting up the murder mystery.
• Created clues and character testimonies providing key information.
• Wrote the resolution of the mystery, to be read once it was solved.
• Designed the layout of the scenario & clues, took care of their presentation across the pages of the zine.
